Grey squirrels are a common pest.  They may look harmless and cute but they can cause severe damage in a property. They can gnaw on wood and insulation or even live wires which may cause a fire or electrical issues.

Signs to look out for:

Noises: Scratching or rustling noises coming from the attic area when the squirrels are nesting or foraging.

Climbing: Spotting squirrels around the roof area or climbing up walls to access the roof.

Droppings: The smell of urine or the site of dropping in the attic area. The smell of urine can linger on loft insulation.

Garden: The regular siting of squirrels in garden area. This will normally be around a bird feeder.
